Reach the right candidates
The number of UK individuals visiting careers information and job sites is estimated to be around 11 million every month (comScore – panel based research). This community accounts for 40% of the total UK working population. We know through independent research* and our own User Profile Surveys that the online community is socio-demographically and in terms of skills and qualifications representative of the UK working population. With the exception of stronger representation of females, ethnic minority groups and sexual orientation the online job seeking community is no different to the UK working population.
As the UK's biggest recruitment market place - with more jobs from more companies and more response from more people - we know that we reach higher numbers of active jobseekers than any of our competitors.
We do this in two ways:
- We have a permanent presence on UK search engines to attract active jobseekers (those individuals actively searching for jobs as apposed to simply browsing) that will apply for a job on our website.
- We have a permanent presence on UK websites where we encourage 'new' jobseekers to visit our website and apply for a job - on average totaljobs.com banners are shown 14m times monthly.
Competition for talent has led employers to communicate carefully about what makes them unique and about the opportunities that a 'role' presents. That's why we offer a range of branding opportunities across our suite of products. This means that recruiters can create a unique position, develop an 'employer brand' and communicate key messages to active jobseekers.
